Trading software, licensing and technical analysis for professional organisations.

Trading software for professional organisations

Three ways to work with us

Commission a trading algorithm, discuss a software licence for an algorithm package, or have your existing algorithm analysed. We specialise in software and technical research for professional market participants.

01

Custom algorithm development

Define the trading logic, data, instruments and target environment. The engagement can cover specification, implementation, testing and technical documentation.

Starting point
An outline of the logic, instruments, data sources and target platform.
Possible deliverables
  • Functional specification
  • Software and agreed usage rights
  • Test report and implementation documentation
Acceptance
Agree test cases, operating limits and the handover checklist before implementation.
Rights and support
Define source-code access, usage rights, documentation, maintenance and change requests in the agreement.
Discuss development
02

Algorithm package licensing

Discuss an algorithm configuration, its test documentation and permitted use. The package, platform, support and licence terms are agreed after technical assessment.

Starting point
Your intended use, platform, instruments and integration requirements.
Possible deliverables
  • Defined package and licence scope
  • Review of available test evidence
  • Compatibility and support scope
Acceptance
Confirm the package and version, then agree compatibility checks and review of available test records.
Rights and support
The offer specifies permitted use, access to code, updates and support. Availability and scope are confirmed individually.
Discuss a licence
03

Analysis of your algorithm

Commission a review of code, data assumptions, test methodology and failure scenarios. The output is a technical findings report with a prioritised engineering action plan.

Starting point
A description of the software, the review objective and available documentation. Agree secure access separately.
Possible deliverables
  • Code and logic review within agreed scope
  • Test-method and data-quality assessment
  • Findings and engineering recommendations
Acceptance
Agree review coverage and report structure: observations, limitations and prioritised technical recommendations.
Rights and support
Confirm authorisation to review the material. Remediation, repeat testing and ongoing support are scoped separately.
Discuss an analysis

Each project starts with an agreed scope. Deliverables, test criteria, software rights and support are defined in the offer and agreement.

The proposed delivery model keeps investment decisions, accounts and deployment approval with the client. Software scope, access, responsibilities and jurisdiction are agreed before work starts.

Assess the solution

Evaluate the algorithm with its evidence

A test result belongs to a specific version, period and environment. During technical due diligence, agree which records can be shared and how they can be reproduced.

01

Backtest

Historical data, costs, data quality and out-of-sample methodology.

02

Demo / forward test

Behaviour under incoming market data, with simulated execution clearly identified.

03

Live evidence

Separately identified records, where available and authorised, including execution costs and cash flows.

Historical and simulated results do not guarantee future results. Evidence scope and disclosure are agreed individually.

What would you like to build, license or review?

Describe your organisation, the algorithm and the intended environment. We can then define a technical scope.
